The Senior Quality Assurance Officer is responsible for implementing quality assurance frameworks, plans, and programmes to support academic excellence through an effective system of quality assurance management within WHTC. The position supports the Head in compiling operational plans and the implementation thereof of the accreditation and re-accreditations of facilities and academic programmes offered by WHTC. The Senior Quality Assurance Officer participates in academic course development, approvals, and accreditations, ensuring quality standards are met at every level.  In addition, the position monitors and undertakes reviews and evaluations of course programmes and facility re-accreditations. The position also facilitates collaborative engagements with relevant stakeholders and implements risk and quality assurance measures and compliance with policies, standards, and regulatory frameworks. Record keeping and generation of regular and incidental reports are a critical aspect of the general administrative duties of the position.
